Privacy Policy

Kleido is a private digital wardrobe. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the app.

Information you provide

Kleido stores the account identifier and, when supplied by your sign-in provider, the name and email address associated with your Apple or Google login. It also stores the reference photos, clothing photos, wardrobe details, generated images, titles, categories, tags, preferences, and support messages you choose to provide. Photos are collected only when you select, capture, or import them.

Purchases and app operation

We process subscription and credit-purchase records, credit balances, app platform and version, and the timestamps needed to deliver purchases, operate optional reminders, prevent abuse, provide support, and keep the service reliable. If you enable notifications on a supported device, a device notification token is stored so Kleido can send them.

App conversion measurement

The Android and iOS apps use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand whether an installation reaches a first completed wardrobe piece, a first completed outfit, or a purchase. Google receives a random app-instance identifier, app and device information, country-level location, and these interaction events. Kleido does not send your Kleido account identifier, photos, wardrobe contents, titles, or tags to Google Analytics. Android Advertising ID and Apple advertising identifier collection are disabled, as are ad-personalization signals. The measurements may be imported into Kleido's advertising accounts to evaluate and optimize Kleido campaigns, but they are not used for personalized ads or remarketing.

Website measurement

On kleido.style, Kleido counts anonymous page views and store-link clicks to understand which launch channels work. It stores only the event, placement, campaign, language, broad platform type, referring host, page path, and time. It does not set analytics cookies, create a visitor identifier, or store an IP address or full browser signature, and it respects the browser’s Do Not Track setting.

How information is used

Your information is used to authenticate you, maintain your wardrobe, process the photos you submit, create modeled clothing and outfit images, deliver purchases and credits, send notifications you have enabled, provide support, operate app features, measure product reliability and successful setup, and attribute app installs. When you explicitly add weather to an outfit request, the app uses your approximate location once, rounds it to roughly a one-kilometre grid and sends it only to retrieve the local forecast. It is not saved in your Kleido profile or wardrobe. We do not sell personal information, show ads, personalize ads, or use cross-app tracking.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication, private storage and the weather proxy. Before the first AI request, Kleido asks for permission to send the reference and clothing photos, generated images, and wardrobe details you choose to OpenAI. OpenAI processes this data only to analyze clothing and create the images or styling you request. If you choose “Not now,” the request does not start and no data is sent to OpenAI. Optional weather forecasts use data from MET Norway under the CC BY 4.0 license; Kleido rounds the approximate location before requesting the forecast and does not imply MET Norway endorsement. MET Norway may retain ordinary service access logs under its published terms. Apple and Google process sign-in and store purchases under their own privacy policies. Google also processes the limited app conversion measurements described above as Kleido's analytics service provider. Kleido requires its providers to protect personal data to a standard at least equal to this policy and use it only to provide the requested service.

Retention and deletion

Your wardrobe remains available until you delete individual pieces, outfits, or reference photos. You can delete your complete account directly from the account section in the app. Kleido then removes the account and its private wardrobe content; limited transaction or security records may be retained when required by law or necessary to prevent fraud.

Your choices

You control which photos are selected from your library or camera, whether notifications are enabled and whether to add local weather to an outfit. The app requests access only when you choose the related action. Sign in with Apple may let you hide your email address. You can manage store subscriptions through Apple or Google and can contact support with any privacy request.

Die Messwerte können zur Auswertung und Optimierung von Kleido-Kampagnen in Werbekonten importiert werden, jedoch nicht für personalisierte Werbung oder Remarketing. Auf kleido.style zählt Kleido anonyme Seitenaufrufe und Store-Link-Klicks ohne Analytics-Cookies, Besucherkennung, gespeicherte IP-Adresse oder vollständigen Browser-Fingerabdruck. Die Do-Not-Track-Einstellung des Browsers wird respektiert. Kleido verpflichtet seine Anbieter zu mindestens gleichwertigem Datenschutz. Es gibt keinen Verkauf von Daten, keine Werbung in der App und kein App-übergreifendes Tracking.
